I’m babysitting a fish that sometimes swims upside-down. I’m glad its young owner warned me, or I would have freaked out this morning:

Thanks to those who posted in response to my survey about what you writers all wear at home. Interesting to note the conflicting philosophies regarding footware: bare feet (”Shoes are too confining and stunt my creativity. :-)”) and shoes (”I did once read that always having your shoes on makes you feel ready to cope with anything, and thus more productive.”)

My standard outfit, at least during winter months: track pants, t-shirt, sweatshirt, furry slippers (it gets cold in my basement office). For those who work at home: what about YOU?

I’m still waiting to hear from the About.com Guide who posted anonymously yesterday, but will report when I do. Meanwhile, I’ve found an About.com Guide who is willing to answer some questions (yay!), so I’ll be posting an update soon.
