Casagrande Press is looking for golfing, fishing, surfing, and wedding stories for four upcoming anthologies. Pays $100/story. “Sometimes we will negotiate a per word rate with professional writers, who send us amazing stories. The author retains copyright of the story and can sell it without permission from us, we retain copyright of the collection as a whole. And we usually ask the authors to give us all rights (bookclub, foreign, movie, audio, etc.) of their story as part of the collection. They retain all rights to their story as not part of the collection. If we sell/agent their story as not part of the collection, the author gets 70 percent and we take 30 percent. Typically these books sell about 8,000 copies and they have never, thus far, led to the sale of any rights.” More info on the Casagrande Press site.
