How to get writing time: Idea #29
The Huffington Post has an interesting article called When Doris Lessing Became Jane Somers and Tricked the Publishing World (And Possibly Herself In the Process).

To demonstrate the struggles that unknown writers face in the brand-name obsessed publishing, apparently Ms. Lessing submitted two books under a pseudonym. Jonathan Cape, her longtime publisher in the U.K., turned both books down.

For those who haven’t heard, Doris Lessing was recently awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
