Not sure about the rest of you, but I drool at the idea of the “smart-paper” technology used in Neal Stephenson’s book, The Diamond Age, where the content of the “paper” can change in a few seconds. I recall reading about so-called “electronic paper” a while back, and decided to check up on what’s going on. The most recent mention I could find in the news was this article from a few weeks ago, in which Toppan Printing Co. and E ink have already launched one version which has a resolution of 400ppi.
