“Light pens. They have a light that directs at pen tip so that you can see what you are writing in the dark. They are incredibly difficult to find at a good price. You can find some at Amazon.com. Oh, and the desktop edition Write or Die, if it hasn’t yet been mentioned. It is available on Dr. Wicked’s blog, I believe.” Suggestion by Annie-Toygerzrock.
“These are all on the expensive side, but a writer can dream… A Livescribe pen (http://www.livescribe.com/) A Kindle An ergonomic chair A day at the spa A writers’ retreat (e.g. http://www.arvonfoundation.org/)” - Suggestion by Derya
“Journals Monogrammed bookmarks (metal or otherwise)
Books on writing and/or grammar
Bookstore gift cards
Coupons for dinner/cleaning/babysitting/etc. (for use while the writer writes)
Noise canceling headphones” - Suggestion by Kathryn H.

Wow, thank you! Just got your email and came here to see that I’m on the top of the list! With a last name that far down in the alphabet, I don’t think I’ve ever been first in line for anything in my life. Thank you so much!
These gifts are awesome. That little leather journal is a trip… I can remember when I was a kid using a 6×0 Rapidograph to write very small. I’d have probably managed to get about 2,000 words into it if I had one of those.
Thank You SOOO Much! I just need to ask my mother if it is okay to send you our address!
Yay me. I always knew I was a winner

I am so excited! I think I’m getting little messages from the universe, here…
First, I won a deluxe edition Writers Market 2010 – then a new theme for my blog – and now this! I think this means I’d better apply butt to chair and WRITE, huh?
Thanks so much, Debbie!
Wow, I finally won something!
I got your email yesterday night and I am sending you my snailmail address. Thanks.
This is awesome. It’s not just ideal for writers. I see it and it makes me think of my Aunt who is going through cancer right now. I might just pick that up for her before going to visit at the beginning of the year. I also set it as a background for my desktop in order to encourage myself during the tough days. Thanks for the suggestion. I will be getting two next pay day
