Ah, compulsive editors. They know not what they’re getting themselves into.
Quint and Lucy
Love the comics!
Sara and Philip?
Short names? But Scarlett Diana Joy Onassis and Buck Lee Patrick oDannon fit the wordcount-expanding spirit of NaNoWriMo so perfectly!
I vote for Day and Lou.
She’s Fleta and he’s Slash.
Fleta means “swift” and we know what slash means.
Oh, goodness. This comic is me. hah I have been fighting my internal editor all day long, and I’m doing an ok job of it thus far. I’m at 1900 words now and hope to get to 3500 by the end of the day. Hopefully the editor in me won’t get in the way!
Nan and Mo?
For some reason “Cynthia” comes to mind for your Miss Priss but I’m not sure what poor “?” should be called. Something plain but with masculine promise, perhaps, like “Johnny” or “Max”.
Moxie and Ed(it)
Alex and Zoe
Love this! I am fighting the revision monster right now. Looking forward to more “nano” strips!
hugs,
Donna
p.s. great tweets, btw!
Forget my suggestion. Go with Moxie and Ed.
Ted and Sally (don’t know why)
Ella and Jack.
I’m finally embracing the spirit of NaNo, and I wrote my first 1674 words without thinking or editing (except for spelling, I admit), and I’m sure that my writing is terrible but has a few good lines in there. If I can keep this up for 29 more days, I’ll be happy.
I liked TaunaLen’s idea of Nan and Mo.
That’s what I had to fight all day long XD. Usually I keep editing stuff to an inch of its life. Today when I started I had a mildy ‘first-day crisis’ around word 150, then I say ‘who cares?’ and started churning out wobbly prose. By the end of the day I’m at 3550 and even though I re-read the last part I didn’t even edit typos. Sloppy is good (for November).
I’d say Nana and Mo (for Maurice) for the two characters ^^.
I was thinking of Trixy & Biff (I dunno, shrug shoulders), but I agree with Alicia. I really like TaunaLen’s, Nan & Mo.
Wanda and Nano?
Tough to beat Moxie and Ed
Woo-hoo, Debbie! 2048 words. You’re on target!
Nano and Wrimo
I like Sara and Philip! What about Jeremy and Lila? or Dexter for the boy. I don’t know, i kinda like them nameless.
Casey and Joey? I like them. They fit your cute stick figure NaNoers.
wait a minute.. Didn’t you call him Hugo once? Or was that another guy?
The girl’s head looks like a comma (with the little ponytail) and the boy’s head looks like a period.
Comie (long o) and Peri?
Very funny. The Dangers of Overediting hits home though. We’ve all been there at one time or another in our writing!
I love it.
Your characters are so cute!
Wow that sounds like me XD
Hey, Debbie – love the comics. Thanks for the smile.
And in answer to your question, Min and Mo came to mind.
