Isn’t Rover the big white ball that devours NaNoWriMo participants who don’t reach the 50,000 word threshold?
Rover is that part of you that feels guilty when you’re not writing NaNoWrimo and if you’re not close to a computer, you have to rush to a notepad to at least get something down.
If you spill coffee on my keyboard, you totally deserve the worst in my novel.
Rover is Ed’s parrot. He’s trained it to say “Rover wants a novel.” and “Write, Ed, write.”
I say Rover is Ed’s pet squirrel! C’mon, you know Ed has to be nuts in some way…

Rover is Ed’s pet tarantula who weaves plotlines for Ed when he’s facing a wall of writer’s “blocks”.
Clearly, Rover is a miniture Grim Reaper that lives on insects.
