And all so true. I'm going mad without an Internet connection at home (I've got a desktop computer running Linux). I practically need search engines and the wikipedia for links, remote version control for coding and writing, and lots of other stuff. I still don't have a laptop / netbook / smartphone / whatever, and actually think it may make me more balanced and productive because I get more thinking and inspiration done. What next? I'm out of ideas. Let's think: these two are at the cafe and still writing and now they have Internet. Maybe they will try to artificially increase their NaNoWriMo counts by copy-pasting stuff from Internet resources (wikipedia, etc.). That may be cheating - it's just a thought - but it's still kinda amusing. ׁHeh, that’s great! And all so true.
