I have a facebook, but I haven’t used it in a while. Oh well! It is fun, and a lot safer than myspace, I think.

If you’re doing surveys and research on or about facebook, try out our new questionnaires application. If lets you create surveys, share them with other facebook users (and not just your friends but everyone else if you want!), and you can see what answers other people give to your questions. You can also show your answers to surveys on your profile so people can get to know you better.

I just love it. We’ve moved so much that it’s allowed us to catch up with people from each stage of our lives – but like your illustration shows it is a massive TIME SINK for me too… sigh.

Regarding the pictures – each image can be tagged with people’s names – you can remove the tag yourself, but you can’t get them to take the picture down – and it will only show up if they are your friend and have that link to you to add your “Facebook profile” to the tag. Does that make sense??

For the moment, I’m in the “Ignoring Facebook as a potentially dangerous time sink” camp.

(That, and I don’t have a good feel for the pitfalls yet. I heard somewhere that if someone posts a picture of me on their site, and labels it with my name, it will show up on my site without my permission! Don’t know if it’s true.)
