A guy broke up with a friend of mine because she read Harlequin romance novels. He claims she didn’t respect “true forms of literature”. Granted he had a point, but at least she reads.
Oh, that is SO me. I have always been very anal about my books — more than one person has commented that they don’t even look like they’ve been read. I’m especially bad about my antique books and first editions — I don’t let anyone borrow those.
I don’t suppose you would allow me to post a small version of this on my blog, with a link back here? I would really appreciate it, as this comic pretty much sums up my whole outlook on friends and book borrowing.

Thanks again, Debbie. Here’s the link to my post:

The small version of the comic links to this page, and I’ve also included a link to Inkygirl.com. Let me know if there’s a problem with anything.
I appreciate it!
