My clearest memory of poetry education was spending what seemed like days in my high school English class on The Red Wheelbarrow by e. e. cummings. We discussed, dissected, analyzed until I never wanted to see a red wheelbarrow or a poem ever again. As a result, I was never much of a poetry reader until a friend of mine started introducing me to poems that I actually liked. One site I recently bookmarked is Poetry Daily, which introduces a new poem a day.
