The Little Owl Mentoring Program

Help out a young writer…

“The Little Owl Mentoring Program connects experienced adult writers with young writers ages 13-22 for free online, regardless of physical location. Created by by Hope Clark, editor of FundsforWriters.com, who runs the mentor side of things, and Elisabeth Wilhelm, editor of AbsyntheMuse.com, who reps the teen demographic, the program currently boasts over 85 mentors and 95 mentees.

However, Little Owl is suffering from a serious mentor shortage. Some young writers have been waiting for months to be paired with a mentor, and experienced writers are needed to cover every writing category and genre—we didn’t know how popular the program would become in such a short time period! If you’d like to apply, please fill out the mentor application form. If you’re unable to mentor, please consider passing on the word to someone who can.”
