My standard outfit, at least during winter months: track pants, t-shirt, sweatshirt, furry slippers (it gets cold in my basement office). For those who work at home: what about YOU?
Normally, I’d wear what I wear to work: a standard shirt and jeans. However, since I’m currently sitting in bed with a rehabbing knee, I’m wearing a pullover shirt and a pair of basketball shorts.
Depends on if I’d *planned* to go in to work. I may already be dressed in work clothes. Otherwise, probably jeans, shirt, often a sweatshirt, and felt slippers. Very rarely do I wear sweatpants for anything but exercise, but every once in a long while I’ll wear those. With slippers, of course.
Usually I wear a tshirt, sweatshirt (often with a hood), and track pants or fleece pants, with my MEC “Hut Boot” slippers. I figure I should be as comfortable as possible when trying to write, but I sometimes worry, when I answer the door, that I look like I’ve just rolled out of bed.
Generally I wear the same kind of shirt-pants-sweater combo I’d wear to work, minus only the shoes. But some days I don’t change out of pajamas till well into the day!
Almost always jeans and a long-sleeved t-shirt of some variety - usually with a sweater in this weather. I did once read that always having your shoes on makes you feel ready to cope with anything, and thus more productive. I’m not sure if it is true or not, but I do try to wear shoes all the time…
Pretty much same as you: workout pants, sweatshirt, sometimes a tshirt underneath . I wake up at 5:50, start work at 6, and as soon as I’m done mid-afternoonish, I head out to get some exercise, so it’s really just a matter of practicality. Really.
WhenI work from home, it is always comfy pants and a ratty t-shirt/sweatshirt. Comfy pants since I must be comfy, and ratty shirt so that dog hair (I have a bouncing Jack Russell) is not a problem, and if I have to run to the barn, I don’t have to change., other than put on the Wellies and a coat.
On weekends, I work in PJs, or even just curl up in bed with the laptop on and my birthday suit. Comfort is key here. *grin*
oh, and as for footwear, I looooove bare feet. In winter, Crocs for slippers in the house, in summer, nada. If its really, really cold? Maybe socks.
Usually pajamas and slippers, unless I have to go somewhere. If I do, what I wear - yoga pants and a tanktop, or a jeans and a cute top - depends on whether I’m feeling lazy or pretty.
Sweatpants and sweatshirt plus socks and sandals (slippers do not provide enough support for my feet). But I can and do change into business clothes in minutes if I belatedlyremember I need to be somewhere. I often rush but hate to be late.
Something comfortable, so usually either leggins/sweatpants with a t-shirt (or other pull-over shirt) and (depending on temperature) sweatshirt or sweater/jumper. Sometimes comfortable jeans. Sometimes slightly prettier variations on the above. If hot, lighter/shorter versions of the above. Occasionally a skirt if I feel like it. And some days, if I’m really tired to start with, I don’t change out of my pj’s ’til midmorning or lunchtime & just put a bathrobe over the top. Plus, socks and if cold, comfy sheeskin slippers (without a hard sloe). If warm, bare feet. I never wear shoes inside the house; I have a pair of clogs by the back door to slip on for things like taking the rubbish out.
Usually it’s the same as what I wear to work (dark-colored shirt or T-shirt, black pants) except that I don’t normally wear shoes in the house. Slippers if it’s cold.
If I’m still wide awake after getting ready for bed I’ll throw on a bathrobe if it’s cold or a cotton yukata if it’s warm.
I have this thing where fabric on my legs makes me crazy and fidgety, so shorts are the basis of any and all writing outfits. Long or short sleeved top depending on weather and always socks. Even if I only have a small window in which to write and I have to dash back out for errands, etc… I still have to change into shorts. So weird, I know.
I usually wear flannel pajamas and sheepskin slippers for much of the day , unless I need to go out . I’ve got a zillion PJ tops and bottoms, because my Mom gets me a new set every year for Xmas, so I have far more pairs of flannel PJ’s than jeans, sweats, pants . . . You get the picture.
I’m a barefoot writer! Otherwise it’s all interchangeable and depends on what else is going on that day. My preference is a warm-up/jogging suit because it can easily transform into something suitable for leaving the house!
Ditto as to what you wear - except I wear men’s large wool socks on my feet.
This is my grunge ensemble - I do change when I leave the house. (Reluctantly.)
Jeans, oversized t-shirt, sweater, socks and slippers (occassionally sweats if it’s really cold). I’m a busy mom to two kids and I work at home, so I have to be dressed to run in and out of the house, and yet be comfortable enough to run up and down doing housework and sitting working at my desk.
I used to always change into jeans and t-shirt (to keep it as ‘work’) with socks in winter, bare feet in summer…but now I’m getting addicted to the comfort of track pants….
I’m definitely a sweats, t-shirt, ankle socks, furry slippers and a huge sweatshirt/sweater type of gyrl.
I hate shopping for slippers so if I find a pair I like I try to buy two.

Same thing as I wear to the office every time I can manage: jeans & t-shirt. Never anything on my feet at home, though!

Jeans and a sweatshirt. Or t-shirt. If it’s a really bad day, my pj’s. A really good day, I might comb my hair.

Not pictured - bare feet! Even though they’re ice cold. Shoes are too confining and stunt my creativity.

Depends on the temp in the house. NCal non-insulated.
Cold, thermal jamies and blanket
Cool, bathroom
Warm, shorts & a tshirt
Hot, nada
Bare feet always, unless I’m going to spend time in the tiled bathroom or the wood floor kitchen, then it’s my fuzzy slippers.

I, of course, swan about my home office in a fabulous vintage kimono and maribou mules…
Stop laughing.
Fine. Yoga pants, long-sleeved tee and my Cthulhu slippers. Happy now?
