From the name of the blog, at first I thought WritingSucks.com was a vent against freelance writing. Looking more closely, however, I noticed that the many of the entries highlight useful resources for writers (hey, like Will Write For Chocolate :-)). From Kerri’s About page: “I’ve always wanted to be a writer–but unfortunately the fantasy of a writing lifestyle usually wins out over the whole actual writing process. I started www.writingsucks.com to give myself some structure, to keep track of my queries and the contests I want to enter, and to vent my frustration about the learning process that every writer must endure.”
