I came in at a respectable 9,352 this week. I was on a strong track until about Thursday and then I slacked off a bit. Still I am not going to complain. Hope everyone had as good of a week as I had and i hope everyone has an outstanding week in their future!

Only wrote 3 days this week & thus failed. Had an event Saturday...then got all depressed when my basketball team lost in the tournament.

I wrote on an average of 250 words a day. Where I skipped a day, I wrote 1000 or so the next day. Just trying to find that write _everyday_, at least 250 words, habit. I know I don't have to write that way, it's just that I _want_ to.

Not the best week - again. There were only three days when I wrote my 500+ words. On one day I managed to squeeze in about 250 words. The thing for me to remember is that if I'm attending any kind of social event I have to get my writing done before that. It won't happen afterwards.
It's always so much better when I manage to write in the mornings.

I'm not totally down, though, because on two of the days that I didn't meet my quota I did write things for my blog. I don't count those but still - it's writing.

I had an excellent week. I've completed the monthly goal and surpassed my benchmark. The new tools and resources I've implemented are paying off. I'm finding my stride and discovering new avenues along the way. At present, I've completed 11% of the goal and expect that I'll probably alter the number and aim for something higher if this continues.

Congratulations K.D.! Kudos to everyone for hanging in there. Best of luck in the week to come!

An utterly woeful week as far as writing went.

I started the week with my completed gazetteer, knowing that I was supposed to be working on figuring out how to make the setting and plot arcs more consistent (eg physically possible), but I think I may have tidied things up too much and had no ragged edge to work from. I just couldn't get a mental grip on what I was supposed to be doing, and had the added problem of a series of issues at work that consumed my energy for lunchtime writing.

I will figure things out this week, though - I did at least generate some questions that need to be answered so I can work on those. World building is hard, though.

Bad week word count wise. I took down the graphic last week and just put it back up today. I knew I would not get my words in as I was more concerned with the warm weather. It wasn't all bad. I had a lot of ideas hit me and I got a lot of thinking done. It was not a waste for me. I feel badly I didn't get my words in but I don't feel like a failure. I know those words are important but the ideas are important too...and also - spending quality time with my little girl when she needs it (and when Mommy needs it too) is even more important. :)

I didn't make the word count by any stretch of the adjectives imagination. But I still feel proud of myself because I got a good chunk done that I knew was going to be hard to write.

Now it's off to next week with bright eyes and high hopes. Thanks again, Debbie, for helping us keep our word count goals.

Ack. I fail at using HTML tags. Sorry about the strike-outs. Only "adjectives" was supposed to be struck out.

I've just put up a 500 a day badge - it's a great idea and that little nudge will be very useful.
