Wordcount Challenge Check-In: 250, 500, 1000 wds/day
For those who encountered the malware warning over the weekend, Inkygirl has now been scrubbed cleaned (HUGE thanks to my hubby). Will post about what happened later today but basically, Inkygirl got hacked late Friday night. Didn't get much writing done over the weekend. :-(

I am sorry that happened to you. I was wondering what was going on when I tried to log into my blog last week and it did the malware warning and wouldn't let me through. I am glad you are up and running. This is a great blog for writers of all stages and it would be awful to see it messed up.
I have been slack on keeping track of my word count for a couple of weeks now. Going to have to take the badge off til I can prove to self I deserve it :) The good news is that I am building my portfolio on Triond!!!! I have 125 pieces and I feel like I am walking on air. :)
I hope that everything gets sorted out with the blog, and without too much fuss.
I'm back from traveling, and am happy to report that I managed to write 7 days out of the last two weeks. Often more than 500 words, sometimes a bit less. That might not sound impressive but to me it is since I've never been able to write anything at all while on vacation. And my story is slowly drawing to an end, only a few more days and I'll have a first draft.

Ugh... so sorry you got hacked. That is terrible. First time posting here, but I'm doing good with my 250. I'm averaging much more lately. I figure if I keep it up for another month, I will have to up to 500 words. Yippee... Love this challenge.
It seems like Wordpress is just having a lot of issues lately. My friend just upgraded to 3.0 and it 'broke'. She wound up reinstalling an older version and having to manually do a lot of back-end stuff that I don't understand. Suffice to say, I'm not upgrading for a while - just in case.
Last week I was super, uber productive. This week? Not so much. I've been writing anywhere from 2-5K a night, except for the last few days. The project I started is just coming from no where and I'm really excited about it. I'm very bummed that this week has allowed so little time to write and start revisions on the novel I finished two weeks ago - but there's so much good stuff going on this week, that I really can't complain - even if I feel like something is missing from my life when I don't have the time to write.
Over all, I have been meeting the 1K a Day challenge, but like I said, that didn't happen the last two nights - well, if I did last night I'll be *very* surprised.
