Yep, we writers can do whatEVER we want! We have nothing but free time on our hands.

Recently, in response to me saying I have an overwhelming life that keeps me too busy, my uncle actually said---quite condescendingly, "What are YOU so busy doing? Writing a BOOK? Pffft."

As Rodney would say: I get no respect. *sigh* They haven't got a clue! : /

SO TRUE, Debbie! When I started homeschooling - on top of writing - so many people thought that meant we could just drop everything and have a play date whenever they felt like having us over. They don't understand that for us to get the things done that we need to get done, we need structure!
