Anyone else feel like this when they're about to start reading a much-anticipated book?

I read someone expressing a similar sentiment about reading the last-ever Terry Pratchett novel "The Shepherd's Crown". And I must admit I seem to keep finding excuses not to read past the first chapter. Because I'll never have another one to look forward to. Sigh.
